Raised in Topsfield, MA, Curtis received his degree in Performance Studies at Northwestern University just north of Chicago, IL. (where he lived in Warren Beatty's old fraternity house room!).

Curtis continued studying acting with William Esper in New York and worked there and in Los Angeles on a variety of projects including: JAG, New York Undercover, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Real Whatever, The Oz Witch Project, The Lonely Astronaut, The Caper, VH1's Super Secret Movie Rules, as well as commercials for Killian's Red, Hardee's, VISA, and Milk. Theatre credits include: "Barron" in The Equation, "King" in Elvis Starts Over, and "Gene" in A Separate Peace.

Currently residing in Haverhill with his son, Tolly, and wife, Cabell, who also performs and is a makeup artist for 27 Down, Curtis is happy and fortunate to return to the BEST coast and join the cast of John Depew's film directorial debut.

Look for him this November as Special Agent Coleman on the upcoming third season of the critically acclaimed show, Brotherhood on SHOWTIME.
