As a native of Florida, Elise Couture began acting at the age of nine and preformed in major productions including Bye Bye Birdie, The Crucible and Greece, among others. After moving to North Carolina, Elise studied with the improvisational theatre group, Dirty South Improv and began training under DGA and Emmy award winning director, Joan Darling. During this time Elise appeared in several films while studying at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, including New Daydream Films features Heredity and Grinder: Memoirs of a Chapman. Elise’s most recent film project, The Elephant Garden, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival last Spring and was awarded the Student Visionary Award among other accolades from NYU’s prestigious Tishman School of the Arts.
Since moving to Boston, Elise has appeared in several more films including End of an Era and she has appeared in Boston advertisements for the new Fenway Triangle. Elise is currently working for award winning producer, Steven Samuels (Pro. Michael Clayton and In the Valley of Eligh) and she is in talks with NYU's acclaimed director, Sasie Sealy (dir. Elephant Garden) about her up-coming feature, Sarah_N12. Elise is very proud to be a part of Wild Beagle Productions feature, 27 Down, and looks forward to collaborating with director John Depew on future projects.
