Mr. Depew got his start in community theatre with such notable parts as Matthew Brady in Inherit the Wind and Robert in Proof and about a dozen more. He has two EMACT awards to his credit. He has also done several commercials and Independent films. Some Film credits include Norma’s Scent and Terminal Conversation. Both films did very well winning at several Film festivals. To date he has about 20 independent films to his credit as an actor and is currently directing and writing 27 Down. As a first time director, John believes his acting experience gives him an edge in directing this film.

Even though he owns a very successful Medical Billing Company, John defines success by how much you enjoyed the journey rather than just the goals achieved. Once asked his key to success he replied, "it is my God given ability to recognize and find talented individuals and let them create".
