Justin Karoway-Waterhouse has been involved with independent filmmaking for over sixteen years. He has starred in dozens of features and shorts while working with the infamous Zone 5 Pictures production company. The highlight of his acting career came when his foot and shadow were featured on a Discovery Channel documentary entitled "Last of the Neanderthals". As a film writer, Justin has a knack for steering plotlines away from the mainstream currents of the day, thereby creating films that no one likes.
Justin is a Certified Chef and Culinary Arts Instructor specializing in raw, plant-based cuisine. He enjoys foraging for wild foods, long walks at the farmer's market and juicing wheatgrass. He lives in central Massachusetts with his wife and two cats.
As a Production Assistant for 27 Down, Justin had the opportunity to dive back into filmmaking after a long hiatus. When asked about the experience, Justin replied: "The cast was fine. The crew was fine. But what really blew me away was the prowess of Director John Depew. Listen, his magnificent talent CANNOT be confined to a mere two-dimensional piece of white vinyl. When 27 Down blesses the silver screen for the first time, audiences will literally be baptized into the fifth dimension to commune with their ancestors and elves of all types. This movie will spell salvation for all mankind, and usher us into a new age of peace."
When asked what the hell any of that meant, he replied, "I don't know. John forced me to say that."
